Lion City Faire began as a dream to bring a Renaissance Faire to Singapore. It’s a celebration of the rich and vibrant culture of our roots, not just as a port city, but as a part of a greater region filled with stories told from the time of our ancestors.

We at the team see the infinite, untapped potential of Singapore’s creatives, seeking to engage the myriad communities we have here across its many fields, asking the simple question: “If you could be a fantasy character for a day, who would you want to be? What would you look like? What powers might you have?”

Most importantly, we are also the ones who dare to ask ourselves, “Why don’t we bring this fantasy to life?”

And so we did. Unapologetically. We don’t believe in asking for permission to be ourselves. We want to acknowledge our culture and history unfiltered, with the freedom to allow our fantasies to take shape.

In 2026, Lion City Faire celebrates Singapore’s roots as a port settlement with our official theme: A Symphony of Land and Sea.
